Wired up easy to the reverse light wiring. I mounted it under the bumper and it works great. The 2.5" monitor is big enough and easy to see. Careful when tightening the camera to the frame it is plastic and won't take too much torque - I would prefer it to be metal - however as it is it is a great addition to my SUV

4UCAM 7" LCD Wireless Truck RV Backup Rear view Camera With Color LCD Monitor + Night Vision
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! This unit was given to me by my husband as a birthday gift on Nov 29th 2010. We have had nothing but trouble with it, first the back up camera did not work, contacted the company and we were told in broken English to reajust the position of the part that goes in the back by the brake light, did that and the camera still only workes when it wants to. Then the vehicle adapter went bad less than 3 months later, they made us buy a new one, cost $79.99 offering to give us a $70 refund, then because I complained about the $15 shipping and handling charge they gave us an extra $7, so $77 refund, why because it only has a 30 day warrenty!!! And yes it is brand new. Got the new adaptor and it seemed to be working for 2 weeks.....now I used my unit last Thursday for a 27 mile trip both ways, the unit does get you were you want to go IF you program it right, which by the way, the book of directions that comes with it is about 2 pages long and tells you NOTHING about the settings or how to set them, now granted there is a help on the unit itself but it still is not very helpful. Yesterday after being plugged in to charge since Thursday (5 days) I had to go across town, was not gone even an hour and on the way home it kept telling me the batter was low and then went dead on me. Plugged it back in to the house charger for 7 hours, had to go across town again that afternoon and it did not make it 15 min before the batter went dead. Had made sure it was charging in the house and it was. back up camera again did not work. This unit is a piece of crap and my husband paid more than the $199 advertised for it......and now it seems the new adaptor is not working, no red light on it to indicate it is charging in the vehicle as it did when we first got it. So I say look elsewhere for a gps, DON'T BUY THIS ONE.

The camera seems to be transmitting well, but I am disappointed that the viewing screen is so small I cannot see anything smaller than a moving vehicle. Certainly, if there was a small child there behind the car, I just wouldn't be able to discern it .It may suffice for some, but not for me. The night vision is non-existent. It just doesn't meet my needs to my satisfaction.. Ideally, the screen should be at least 3.5 to 4 inches rather than 2. Sorry, but I am not pleased with the product. I contacted the company and had no response but a blank form to fill out with the data I had just put in my mail.
