I will never buy a metal strainer again. These are fantastic. I use them for straining fruits and vegetables from my garden that have been pureed in my Vitamix. I use a silicone spatula to move the puree around in the strainer and the work is done in no time. I've always wondered why they didn't put a hook attachment on the prongs that sit on the bowl. Well this strainer has a hook instead of a straight piece so it really stays secure on the bowl.
They were easy for me to clean - I wasn't sure about putting them in the dishwasher so I just hand washed them and it was no problem. I can't believe these are so cheap - some of those metal strainers in the 7 inch size like I bought are $14 apiece. I bought three of these for the same price.

Really happy to find this strainer with a nylon mesh instead
of metal as they do not rust ... The one down side is that if
you're straining a lot of hot food items, the mesh will warp a
bit.
However, given the price I can't complain as the one this is
replacing is about 5 years old.

Bought to drain water kefir grains. Works great, but they multiplied so quickly, they don't fit in the 4 inch strainer anymore. I wish I had ordered up a size.
