I purchased a set of this flatware for my first house. I bought it for the versatility. It is classic enough for everday use, while still looking elegant for formal dining. In the 7 years I have used them, I have NEVER had a problem with craftmanship. Highly recommend this brand and style (espeically at this price). :)

My gold box popped up the Satin Flight service for 8 at a great price, and my heart about popped out of my chest, I was so excited, but then I realized I had the mirror finish, and I absolutely love it, and wouldn't mix. It's a great product, and as another reviewer stated, I rarely if ever see it in anyone else's home, despite its elegance.It works with my everyday dishes and looks equally beautiful with my good china and crystal. I highly recommend it. I've had it since it was called Reliance many years ago, and the pieces still look new. I put them to hard work with kiddos and a dishwasher.
Get them if you're debating!

I bought the Oneida Flight pattern 2.5 years ago when I graduated from college - Loved the pattern, loved the weight, loved the quality. This year, I wanted to add more place settings (I only got a service for 8 the first time), so I ordered this set thinking that it would add to my current set. Unfortunately, in the last two years, Oneida has changed the manufacturer. Instead of the heavy, made in the USA set that you could purchase two years ago, Oneida is selling a similar looking lighter, made in Vietnam set. It's noticeably less good - The knives are much lighter and handles are thinner, the forks are shorter, and the serving peoples seem "cheap." If you can get the older USA version (which by the way is the set pictured - the product that you'll receive is similar but not exact), I'd recommend it instead of this set. I found a few of the bigger chain stores that have a couple boxes of it left on the back of the shelves.
